Built on the same bench we teach from
CoreSilicon Technologies is a VLSI design studio that licenses chip IP and trains the engineers who will eventually design the next ones.
Why we run IP design and training together
Most training programs teach VLSI design using simplified textbook examples that never touch a real constraint file, a real lint report, or a real verification plan. We took a different approach: our courses are taught directly from the IP cores we design and license, so students work with the same RTL, the same testbenches and the same review process our clients receive.
That link between the two sides of the business is deliberate. It keeps our IP grounded in teachable fundamentals, and it keeps our training grounded in what a design team actually does day to day.
-
01
IP that ships
Every core in our catalog is written to be integrated, not just demonstrated — with lint-clean RTL and a documented testbench.
-
02
Small batches
Training batches are capped so every student gets lab time and direct review of their work, not just lecture slides.
-
03
Flow-first teaching
We teach the full RTL-to-GDSII flow in sequence, so students understand how a decision at RTL shows up at place-and-route.
IP clients and training partners
Fabless teams & startups
Small and mid-size design teams that need a verified interface, memory-controller or DSP block without building it in-house.
Engineering colleges
ECE/EEE departments running VLSI electives or add-on certificate programs for final-year students.
Students & early-career engineers
Learners preparing for a VLSI design or verification role who want hands-on RTL and lab experience, not just theory.
